I’ve never tried to hide my obsession with rivers and wild, native trout. The pursuit of these fish drove me to want to become a better angler and ultimately, a better caster. In the process of studying casting, I discovered a new passion: instructing others and sharing what I’ve learned. I’m pleased to offer guided fishing trips casting instruction for folks from beginner to advanced casters.
Guided Fishing:
Walk/Wade 2 hr session $200
Walk/Wade 4 hr session $275
Drift Boat 8 hr session $400
Jet Boat 8 hr session $500
Casting Programs:
$50/hr 2 hr session recommended for a strong understanding of the fundamental casts.
Lessons are generally conducted in Port Allegany, Pennsylvania, but can be scheduled for any location in the PA Wilds region. Sessions can be done on grass or water depending on the goals desired. Whether you have never cast a fly rod before and want to learn or would like to tune up your double haul for a trip to the Bahamas, I’m confident we can hone your skills and have some fun.
